Tried the clearing of all saved PS passwords: still get the error after restart. So unless there's some other app that I'm unaware of using the f/p scanner I think I've eliminated that possibility. Ran Password Safe and get the “Key permanently invalidated” error. Confirmed FST and PlayStore still disabled. I Force Stopped FST and Disabled Google Play Store then restarted the phone. There is interaction between Password Safe and the FST in that using PS will disable the functionality of the FST until it is Force Stopped and restarted (which is also annoying!). The only other apps that use the f/p scanner are PlayStore and the Fingerprint Scanner Tools plug-in for Tasker. ![]() I also use the fingerprint to wake up the phone, which only works for a registered f/p. I have a PIN to unlock the phone whch I use unless the phone displays the fingerprint icon at the lock screen. ![]()
